ISO 20000: For Information Technology Service Management
ISO/IEC 20000 is the international standard for Information Technology (IT) Service Management (ITSM). The standard provides a framework for organizations to design, transition, deliver, and improve their IT services. It defines the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving a Service Management System (SMS). The current version of the primary standard is ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018, which is applicable to organizations of all sizes and sectors, including internal IT departments and external IT service providers.
